During the visit, the minister met with CSGI chairman and senior officials responsible for managing the electricity grid across the southern provinces and cities of China.
The visit included a high-level meeting attended by Egypt’s Ambassador to Beijing Khaled Nazmy to discuss potential cooperation in the fields of pumped-storage hydropower, energy storage station development, and designing an optimal energy mix to ensure grid stability and continuous supply, especially in light of the increasing reliance on renewable energy sources in the coming period.
Esmat was briefed on the company's core operations, its advanced technologies, and its capabilities in pumped-storage and energy storage facilities.
