Etisalat attracts more subscribers than Orange, Vodafone
The number of subscribers of mobile services in the Egyptian market rose slightly in September to reach 96.25m subscribers compared to 96.24m subscribers in August.
According to a report issued by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, 8,570 new customers were added to the mobile market in September.
The report also stated that Etisalat Egypt attracted the most customers, as they increased by 208,000 new customers, bringing the total number of subscribers to 23.01m in September, compared to 22.8m users in August.
Orange lost 106,100 customers, decreasing its number of costumers from 33.6m in August to 33.49m in September.
Vodafone lost 93,500 customers, making its number of costumers go from 39.8m in August to 39.7m in September.
