Egyptian Envoy calls on Pakistani Petroleum Minister

Federal Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources, Dr Asim Hussain has said that Pakistan has always welcomed the cooperation extended by Egypt in various sectors of the economy. The minister was talking to Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Pakistan, Said Hindam who called on him here Tuesday. Dr Asim Hussain appreciated the help provided by the Government of Egypt during this year’s floods and reiterated the brotherly relations between the two countries. The minister said that Pakistan has always cherished the constructive role of Egypt in Organization of Islamic Countries (OIC).

He apprised the Ambassador about the ongoing projects of the oil and gas sector in Pakistan and emphasized the need to expand Pak-Egypt cooperation in other sectors of the economy.

Ambassador of Egypt to Pakistan, Hindam assured that the government of Egypt would extend all possible help in energy sector and for sharing experiences of successful projects.
