Starting tomorrow, entrance to pyramids using electronic tickets

Egypt will replace paper entry tickets to the pyramids with electronic ticket cards. The new system will facilitate entrance to the pyramids area, as well as organise the billing system more efficiently.

The new plastic tickets will have an image of the pyramids printed on them, and may also serve as memorabilia.

One of the two entrances to the pyramid area, the Mina House entrance, will be restricted to large groups and families.
