In a step that confirms the confidence of foreign investors - especially French investors - in the Egyptian economy, France's renowned Paul Bakery and Restaurant, which has 452 branches in 23 countries around the world, opened its first branches in Egypt at City Stars and Downtown Mall in Kattameya.

Christian Salloum, Brand Manager of Paul Middle East, stated, "Paul Bakery & Restaurant calls upon foreign investors to support the Egyptian economy by increasing their investments."

Additionally, Salloum indicated that he expects the return of strong growth rates in the Egyptian economy once political stability and security are reestablished in the country at the soonest.

Salloum added, "We are also confident in the Egyptian market's purchasing power and the Egyptian economy's ability to recover from the current crisis it is facing. Furthermore, we expect great success for our branches in Egypt, in addition to the upcoming opening of our 3rd branch at Mall of Arabia in 6th of October City towards the end of this year, as a result of Paul's great fan following in Egypt by those who have tasted Paul's French bakery aboard."

Egypt's two 2 branches have followed the opening of 29 branches across seven countries in the Middle East and Africa including Jordon, UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain, Lebanon and Qatar. The majority of these are run by Azadea, Paul's main franchise operator in the region.

Salloum further added, "In addition, Paul brings the true French Art de Vivre to Egyptian consumers by offering delicious food presented in creative ways, which represents an added value to Egypt's restaurant scene."
