Maui Wowi Hawaiian plans Middle East expansion

Maui Wowi Hawaiian has signed a franchise agreement to expand its reach throughout the Middle East.

The Greenwood Village-based company said it’s got an agreement in place with Global Enterprises Holding Group to open locations in Egypt, Qatar, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates.

Maui Wowi makes Hawaiian coffee and fruit smoothies and has 575 locations worldwide, including in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.

The announcement comes the same month that Maui Wowi said it had a franchise agreement to open locations in Dublin, Ireland.
