Egypt Launches Program to Deploy Professors to Factories to Boost Industry

Egypt’s Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research is launching a new program aiming to place a professor in every factory. This aims to turn scientific ideas into real-world applications. 

Additionally, this part of the Ministry’s vision to strengthen the link between research and industry needs. The Science, Technology & Innovation Funding Authority (STDF) announces the upcoming launch of the “A Professor for Every Factory” program.

The program aims to transform research outputs into practical industrial solutions. It also aims to improve production efficiency while reducing costs and energy consumption. Additionally, it aims to support local manufacturing and strengthen reliance on national capabilities.

This is part of Egypt’s industrial innovation push to create tangible impact across the sector.
