Sisi issues directives on localizing industry, building human capabilities, infrastructure
Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly said that President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi issued clear directives to the government to localize industry, build human capabilities and develop infrastructure in order to strengthen and anchor Egyptian industry.
The directives also asserted integration between scientific research and industrial entities to achieve Egypt Vision 2030 and enable Egypt to become one of the world’s leading industrial nations through local manufacturing, promotion of Egyptian-made products, increased local content.
These remarks were made during Madbouly’s inauguration, in the morning on Tuesday, of the submersible pumps production plant at Qaha Chemical Industries Company (Military Factory 270) in Qalyubiya governorate, one of the key industrial entities affiliated with the Ministry of Military Production.
He was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Industry and Transport Kamel al-Wazir, Governor of Qalyubiya Ayman Attia and Minister of State for Military Production Mohamed Salah al-Din Moustafa.
Madbouly asserted that the state continues to intensify efforts to develop Egyptian industry, considering it a primary engine for comprehensive economic progress.
