Egypt inaugurates first submersible pump production factory

During the inauguration ceremony, Minister of State for Military Production Mohamed Salah El-Din Mostafa affirmed that submersible pumps manufactured by military production companies contribute to adding value to the national economy and reducing import costs.

Production at the factory has already begun, with several pumps supplied to drinking water and wastewater companies across various governorates.

For his part, Madbouly emphasized that the state continues to advance efforts to develop Egyptian industry as a key driver of comprehensive economic progress, which in turn supports all other sectors.

This, he noted, coincides with ongoing efforts to empower the private industrial sector and remove obstacles to its activities and operations’ flourishing by providing a suitable environment, incentives, and support for industrial investment.

He further stressed the state’s efforts to foster a culture of added value in Egyptian industry to maximise benefits, through deepening local manufacturing, advancing technology, and generating the highest returns for the economy and citizens
