RSA, the security-first identity company, has announced new growth plans for its Cairo operations following a presidential roundtable held in Cairo. The meeting brought together executives from 52 Egyptian and international technology firms and major offshoring players and came after RSA signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) during the Global Offshoring Summit.

The agreement outlines RSA’s intention to expand its centre of excellence in Egypt over the next three years through new investments and the hiring of additional Egyptian talent. “RSA has been in Cairo for over a decade, and today nearly every part of our company benefits from the expertise of our Cairo team," Greg Nelson, CEO of RSA, said. "Their talent, drive, and energy fuel our ability to innovate and support our customers. We will continue to invest and grow here as we build the future of cybersecurity together.”

The expansion aligns with Egypt’s wider offshoring strategy and the government’s plans to promote sustainable youth employment. During the roundtable, Minister of Communications and Information Technology Dr Amr Talaat noted that the agreement with RSA is part of a broader package involving 55 global and local companies expanding their operations in Egypt. “These competitive advantages strengthen Egypt’s position as a trusted global partner and enable companies to deliver world-class digital services, empowering enterprises to grow from Egypt to the world,” Dr Talaat said.
