The Industry Ministry, in a statement issued on Monday, said that the first version of the application is available for "Android" system, with an "IOS" version is set to be launched soon.
The new application aims to handle complaints and inquiries from investors in an easy-to-use manner, facilitating investor response and prompt follow-up, the statement read.
Users of the application should create an account by registering their personal information (name, phone number and email address), then selecting the service they require, indicating is it is a complaint or inquiry.
After entering personal data, the investor can log into his personal account on the application and follow up on the complaint or inquiry, as well as review the status of the complaint, or submit a new complaint, the statement added.
Egypt's Industry Ministry launches mobile app to support investors
The Egyptian Ministry of Trade and Industry launched the first version of a mobile application that aims to provide support to investors, receive their complaints and answer their queries online.
This comes within the framework of directives of Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial development and Minister of Industry and Transport Kamel el Wazir to simplify dealings of investors and meet their needs along with coping with modern technology trends.
