Chinese company North Petroleum allocates $100 million to acquire concessions in Egypt

The China North Petroleum has allocated $100 million to acquire new concession contracts or form partnerships in Egypt to explore for oil and gas in the Western Desert and offshore waters of the country. This was stated by Sunbao, head of the company in Egypt, at “Asharq” on the sidelines of the Egyptian Oil Show Egyptes 2025 in Cairo.
