CMA CGM launches EMED 1 service connecting Turkey, Egypt and Lebanon

CMA CGM has announced the launch of a new weekly EMED 1 service that will link Turkey, Egypt and Lebanon. 

The service will be one vessel with a capacity of 1,100 teu and start from Antalya on July 10 before heading to Alexandria and Beirut. 

Additionally, the French carrier has reshuffled its EURONAF and Turkey Med Express (TMX) 2 services to be fully aligned with updated routing and volumes from mainliners due to the diversions from the Suez Canal via the Cape of Good Hope.
