The port of Damietta received the bulk carrier "ANNA-S" coming from Russia with 66,000 tons of wheat on board for the Supply Commodities Authority.


In a related context, the media center of the Damietta Port Authority issued a statement stating that the port received 8 ships during the past 24 hours, while 12 ships left, pointing out that the total number of ships in the port reached 35 ships - including the ANNA-S, as well as containers and general cargo.


The center stated that the movement of incoming public goods included thousands of tons of various commodities, as the port received 8,274 tons of wheat, 2,855 tons of iron, 8,844 tons of scrap, and 5,931 tons of sugar.


The port also received 966 tons of beech wood, 1928 tons of lentils, 502 tons of flax, 5216 tons of beans, 574 tons of plywood, 5354 tons of soybeans, 1100 tons of molasses and 5720 tons of miscellaneous goods.
