Microsoft Egypt under the management of Mirna Arif is endeavoring to build a solid AI ecosystem and provide organizations of all sizes with the most advanced AI models, thereby encouraging productivity, reducing costs, advancing business growth, and creating more value. AI is rapidly advancing in large models and generative AI, enabling industries ranging from transportation to healthcare to financially leverage its capabilities. The aim is to ensure that AI breakthroughs are accessible to all, facilitating productivity, and solving pressing societal problems. Various organizations in Egypt use AI to develop digital capabilities, including the Egyptian Cabinet’s Information and Decision Support Center, the Grand Egyptian Museum, and renowned healthcare and financial firms. Microsoft also collaborates with local authorities to develop AI national policies that address privacy, data, and other security complications. To ensure AI technologies benefit society, Microsoft has launched several AI skilling initiatives. Examples include the nationwide 'Tawar w 3’ayar' initiative and the Tamayuz National Skilling initiative. Microsoft also supports the Digital Egypt Builders Initiative, equipping young graduates with the technical skills needed in digital technologies, including AI. Microsoft's principles include fairness, reliability, safety, privacy and security, transparency, and accountability.
