Supply Ministry Implements 21 Logistical, Commercial Projects in 17 Governorates to Create 250,000 Jobs

Dr. Ibrahim Ashmawy, First Assistant Minister of Supply and Head of the Development Authority for Internal Trade, confirmed that the ministry is working on implementing approximately 21 commercial and logistical projects in 17 governorates across the country.


Ashmawy indicated that one of these projects is being implemented in Suez which is expected to represent a quantum leap in Egypt and will be the first strategic warehouse for ration decisions and free goods.


He added, during a phone call to the “Al-Hayat Al-Youm” program, with the journalist Muhammad Mustafa Shardy, aired on the "Al-Hayat" satellite channel, that all projects of the trading system are carried out in partnership with the private sector.


He pointed out that the foundation stone was laid today in Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate for a commercial and logistical zone, and stressed that the projects of the Trade Development Authority extend over 500 acres, with investments estimated at billions, and provide job opportunities amounting to 250,000 jobs.
