Get to Know ATM Withdrawal Limit during Eid Al-Fitr

The Central Bank of Egypt announced that the next Sunday and Monday are official holidays on the occasion of Easter and Feast of Resurrection, in addition to Friday and Saturday as a weekly holiday in all banks, so that the vacation becomes 4 continuous days, provided that work in banks resumes on the morning of Tuesday, April 18, for a period of two days only to disable work again, starting from Thursday, on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr.

In this regard, the CBE stated that the maximum limit for customer withdrawals through ATMs does not exceed 20,000 pounds per day, but in the case of withdrawals from the account through a specialized employee, the daily limit reaches 150,000 pounds.

 At the same time, the bank granted the customer the right to pay his daily purchases by electronic payment without a maximum limit, in order to achieve financial inclusion in the buying and selling operations that the state seeks to implement during the last period.

NBE

The daily maximum cash withdrawal for individuals and companies from bank branches reaches EGP 150,000.

The maximum cash withdrawal limit through ATMs is EGP 20,000 per day.

- Cash withdrawal limits on the classic direct debit card: The maximum cash withdrawal limit for the card from ATMs is up to EGP 15,000 per day.

- Cash withdrawal limits on direct debit cards - Gold - Platinum - MasterCard World - MasterCard World Elite: The maximum limit for cash withdrawals by cards from ATMs is up to EGP 20,000 per day.

- Cash withdrawal limits on the direct debit card Advantage: The maximum cash withdrawal limit from ATMs is up to EGP 12,000 per day.

Banque Misr

The maximum cash withdrawal limit for the aforementioned Banque Misr cards via POS machines reaches EGP 150,000 per day, according to the credit limit on the card.

- The maximum daily cash withdrawal limit for Banque Misr Islamic Gold credit card: The maximum limit reaches 50% of the credit limit, up to 15,000 pounds per month.

- The maximum daily cash withdrawal limit with the Banque Misr Classic Islamic credit card reaches 50% of the credit limit, up to 10,000 pounds per month.

- The maximum daily cash withdrawal limit with the Misr Titanium Islamic Bank credit card reaches 50% of the credit limit, up to 50,000 pounds per month.
