Egypt Advances 10 Spots in World Bank's Global Logistics Index

Egypt's ranking on the Logistics Performance Index (LPI)  jumped 10 ranks to 57th in the world in 2023, compared to 67th in the earlier edition of the index in 2018.


The index is issued by the World Bank and aims to monitor the efficiency of the performance of logistics services, international shipping, supply chains and the sustainability of services in about 139 countries worldwide.


Egypt scored 3.1 points in the LPI 2023 index, compared to 2.82 points in the 2018 index.


On the other hand, Saudi Arabia rose 17 ranks on the index, advancing to 38th place.


The UAE topped the Arab countries in the index, ranking 7th in the world.
