Uber announces new rates in Egypt

The increases in Uber services also included the Uber X Saver Service, so that the cost of the start of the trip became nine LE instead of LE7.80.

Uber has noticed customers of a tariff increase, in a proactive move before fuel prices rise further despite no announcement regarding increase gasoline or diesel costs.


The cost of the Uber X service has become LE12 for the start of the trip compared to nine LE, the previous price announced by Uber in July.


The kilometer price was raised to LE3.10 from three LE, while the waiting minute prices stabilized at 55 piasters. The minimum trip was set at LE20 instead of LE15 before the new prices.
