Egypt, Yemen discuss economic cooperation

Egypt’s Minister of International Cooperation Rania A. Al-Mashat met with Yemen’s Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Waed Bathib, on his visit to Cairo as part of the high-level delegation headed by Yemen’s Prime Minister, Maeen Abdulmalik.

 During the meeting, both sides discussed joint economic relations between Egypt and Yemen, and addressed means of developing bilateral relations between both countries across various fields.

Minister Al-Mashat stated that this meeting comes within the framework of the Government of Egypt’s efforts to enhance joint economic relations with Arab countries; adding that this is a continuation of the discussions held with the Egyptian and Yemeni governments, headed by prime ministers of both countries.
