Egypt’s Suez Canal reports record revenue

Egypt’s Suez Canal revenue rose to a record $5.84 billion in its 2020-21 financial year (July-June), up from $5.72 billion in the previous year despite the coronavirus pandemic’s effect on world trade as well as a six-day blockage by a giant Ever Given cargo ship.
