Greek investors seek to do business in Egypt

A delegation of major energy investors in Greece is interested in doing business in Egypt.

The delegates, in a meeting with Electricity Minister Mohamed Shaker here Wednesday, expressed desire to implement wind and solar energy projects in the Red Sea and Minya governorates.

The delegation thanked Shaker for supporting cooperation between Egypt and Europe, stressing Athens' keenness to work with Cairo in the electricity and renewable energy sector.

The Greeks also praised achievements in the electricity sector in Egypt.
