Vodafone Egypt added 151,000 new customers in its fiscal fourth quarter to March, for a total 38.505 million. The increase included 38,000 postpaid customers and 113,000 in prepaid. ARPU strengthened to EGP 28.3 from EGP 27.8 in the previous quarter, after an increase in prepaid ARPU to EGP 23.8 from 23.4 in the previous quarter and 27.3 a year ago.

Vodafone said organic service revenue growth accelerated to 11.2 percent on an annual basis in the quarter, led by demand for data services. Data traffic jumped 73 percent year-on-year to 28,163 TB in the quarter. SMS and voice traffic also increased over the same period.
