Sisi meets members of Egypt-Kuwait Business Council
President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi held on Monday 18/5/2015 a meeting with members of the Egypt-Kuwait Business Council.
Egypt always welcomes Kuwaiti investments, which help promote ties, achieve joint interests and attain comprehensive development in Egypt, the President said, according to presidential spokesman Alaa Youssef.
Meanwhile, council chairman Mohamed Jassem Al-Saqr said Egypt's stability and prosperity reflects on the whole Arab nation, and praised the economic and political achievements the country made in the past two years.
The Egyptian government is about to complete the executive regulations of the investment and mineral resources laws, Sisi said in response to remarks by council members, the spokesman added.
Measures for allocating lands for investment projects have been eased, especially in areas with proposed new projects, including Sharq Al-Tafrea, Sisi said, adding that taxes on income and companies will be reduced from 25% to 22.5%.
