Egypt to organise promotional campaign after economic forum

The Egyptian government is planning a promotional campaign to subscribe to $1.5 billion bonds offered in the global market after the Sharm al-Sheikh conference in March, said Finance Minister Hani Qadri Demian.Demian told a meeting with British Minister of State for Middle East Affairs Tobias Ellwood n Thursday:“Egypt has promising investment opportunities in new and renewable energy�.

He also said that the government will offer at the Sharm al-Sheikh conference many other projects for investment in participation with the private sector in the areas of river transport and logistics, energy, tourism and infrastructure.

The minister confirm that he presented during the meeting projects that the government has implemented to boost the economy, such as the Suez Canal development project, the Golden Triangle project in southern Egypt and the reclamation of one million acres project.
