First ATM security cabinet to be introduced in Egypt

Cash Machine Services (CMS) is introducing a security ATM cabinet to Egypt, the first of its kind in the Middle East and North Africa region (MENA), said Khalid Abdel Wahab, CMS Board Member.

Abdel Wahab said this is the first time Egyptian clients have access to physical and electronic security at the same time, adding that these cabinets are fire proof, explosion proof and bullet proof.

Abdel Wahab also added that the cabinets are monitored with cameras.

The service is to be delivered to customers in partnership with banks, with five Egyptian banks offering in November to deliver this service, according to Abdel Wahab.
