Libya invests at least $9 billion in Egypt

Libya’s Egyptian Ambassador has put investment figures at between $9 – $12 billion to assist the development of their neighbours industry.

Ambassador Mohammed Fayez Abdul-Aziz Jibril said the investments will be further expanded in the near future.

During a television debate, Jibril said are more than 7,000 Libyan students in Egyptian universities. He also added that more needs to be done to help Egyptian workers gain a visa for Libya.
