Egypt economy grows at 2.2%

The Egyptian economy grew at an annual rate of 2.2 percent in the three months to the end of December, Planning Minister Ashraf al-Araby told a news conference in Cairo on Thursday.

He said the government is aiming for annualised growth of no less than 3 percent in the six months to the end of June.
