Amer Group to implement $250 mln project in Jordan
Egypt’s Amer Group will implement a 250-million-U.S. dollar tourism project in the Dead Sea area in Jordan, the state-run Petra news agency reported Tuesday.
The project, which will create about 3,000 jobs, includes building villas, apartments, a five-star hotel as well as other tourism facilities, according to the report.
Jordan’s Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour said the government is committed to facilitating the implementation of the project.
The Egyptian business tycoon said Jordan’s stability and security played a key role in encouraging the group to implement the project in Jordan.
