Egypt to use ICT to boost sport

Egypt’s Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Atef Helmy and Minister of State for Sports, Al-Amri Farouq, have signed a cooperation protocol on using technology to improve sports.

The protocol aims to use ICT to enhance the operations and management of the Sports Ministry.

It aims to provide updated information on sports through the use of a standardized information network, providing systems to circulate data and information electronically.
