Country-Wipo discuss boosting joint cooperation

Egypt's Permanent Representative to the United Nations in Geneva Wafaa Bassim and the president of the governmental Academy of Scientific Research and Technology Maged El-Sherbiny met with Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Francis Gurry to discuss boosting joint cooperation.

During the meeting, held on the sidelines of the 50th session of WIPO meetings on Friday, Egypt reviewed its national efforts to apply an intellectual property policy.

Gurry welcomed Egypt's hosting of the second regional conference of southern countries on intellectual property and development which will be held in May.
