Vodafone Egypt adds 419,000 subscribers in Q2

Vodafone Egypt added 419,000 new subscribers in its fiscal first quarter to June, taking its total base to 37.621 million. Quarterly revenues rose 3.9 percent from a year earlier to EGP 3.086 billion. Net profit reached EGP 521 million. The mobile operator invested EGP 268 million in the quarter, down 66 percent from a year ago. Voice traffic of 22.42 billion minutes was up 3.2 percent from the previous quarter.
