Egypt April mobile subscriptions up 23 pct

The number of mobile phone subscriptions in Egypt grew by 23 percent to 92.04 million in the year to April, government figures showed on Sunday.

In April 2011, Egypt's three mobile operators, Etisalat Egypt, Mobinil and the Egyptian unit of Vodafone, had 74.58 million subscriptions.
