Tantawi: Workers Have Important Role to Maintain Progress

Head of the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces (SCAF) Field Marshal Hussein Tantawi stressed on 29/4/2012 the need for all efforts by the Egyptian workers for the development of Egypt.

Tantawi praised the role of workers in Egypt to preserve and support the development plans and to increase production to help Egypt overcome the current phase after the revolution.

This came during Tantawi's meeting with the Egyptian Trade Unions Federation at which he listened to the workers' demands including approving the minimum salary at least EGP 700.
