US Approves Urgent Plan to Support Egypt’ Economy – Egyptian Minister
The US administration has approved an urgent plan to support the Egyptian economy in the coming six months, Egyptian Minister of Industry and Foreign Trade Mahmoud Essa said.
In a statement here Thursday, Essa, who is currently visiting the United States, said the plan includes increasing trade exchange and direct investments in small and medium enterprises.
A US delegation will visit Cairo in the next two weeks to set a schedule for the implementation of the plan, he said.
Essa welcomed the US supportive move to revitalize the Egyptian economy in the short-run.
