Telecom Egypt launches telephone service to help voters

Telecom Egypt has launched a nifty new phone service to help Egyptian voters find their correct polling stations.

Voters can now call Telecom’s 140 phone directory, provide their national ID Number and within seconds be told their constituency, polling station and their number on the voting list.

According to Mohamed Abdel Raheem, the executive manager of Telecom Egypt, the new service was launched to ease the voting process for the upcoming parliamentary elections set for November 28.

The service was launched in collaboration with the Ministry of State for Administrative Development.
