About 240 Serbian tourists, among whom are families with small children, were Tuesday expelled from their hotel rooms in the seaside resort of Hurgada, Egypt, due to the conflict between the Egyptian agency Bright Sky with its partner agency United travel from Belgrade.

The tourists were on Tuesday evening were provided with a different hotel accommodation in that city, Tanjug was told at the Serbian Embassy in Egypt.

The embassy announced they will have more detailed information on Wednesday regarding the tourists' accommodation, as well as their return to Belgrade, because their return tickets have not been purchased yet.

The Belgrade agency did not pay their business partners from Egypt, so the Egyptian agency Bright Sky sent a message to about 15 hotels to expell the Serbian tourists, who had paid for their travel arrangements in Belgrade.

Some hotels refused to do that, some said they would allow the Serbian tourists to stay for one more night, whereas some of them locked the rooms immediately, not even allowing the people who returned from the beach to get their personal things.
