Egypt's Misr Cement reopens factories after strikes end
Egypt's Misr Cement Qena has announced production at its factories has been resumed after employees ended their strike and returned to work, Ahram has reported.
The cement producer had shut all but one of its factories on Sunday in response to a new wave of industrial action by workers demanding higher wages. Misr Cement posted a 16% fall in its nine-month net profit to EGP263.7m, compared with a year earlier.
