Telecom Egypt Workers Threaten Work Stoppage, Al Shorouk Reports

Telecom Egypt (ETEL) employees have threatened to strike if their demand for the resignation of Chief Executive Officer Mohammed Abdel Rehim is not met, Al Shorouk reported, without saying where it got the information.

The workers are also demanding the release of five of their colleagues who were arrested after locking Abdel Rehim in his office last week, the Cairo-based newspaper said.
