Egypt Body to File Complaint Against Cement Monopolies, Mal Says

The building materials unit of the Egyptian Federation of Industries will file a complaint to the country’s anti-monopoly commission against companies it accuses of monopolizing the local cement market, Al Mal reported.

The complaint is being drafted against nine companies, one of which is state-owned and eight that are owned by international cement manufacturers, the Cairo-based newspaper said, citing unidentified people at the building materials unit.
