Alexa Internet, an intelligent Web Navigation tool, has a list of the top 500 sites in Egypt - here are the top 25.

Multinational cooperations usually ask themselves how and where to place their online advertisements. A tool most of their marketing departments use to solve this issue is Alexa.

Alexa is continually crawling all publicly-available websites to create a series of snapshots of the web. They then use the data they collected to create features and services related to Site Info (Traffic Ranks, search analytics, demographics etc.) and Related Links (Sites that are similar or relevant to the one you are currently viewing). It also has a downloadable toolbar.

It has a list of the top sites all over the world, but one can also sort them by country and category.

The following is an account of the 25 most visited websites in Egypt:

2. Google Egypt (www.google.com.eg): The famous search engine specialized in Egyptian-based search results.

4. Google (www.google.com): Enables users to search the world's information, including webpages, images, and videos. Offers unique features and search technology.
