Cairo ranked 3rd must visit city in 2020

Cairo earned its ranking due to the eagerly-anticipated opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum, set to open at the foot of the Giza pyramids and to be the biggest museum in the world dedicated to one civilization. The museum is expected to be open to visitors in 2020.
The ranking also took into consideration the newly inaugurated Sphinx Airport in Giza that is set to be fully operating in 2020. The airport will be especially helpful to tourists flying domestically to Luxor, Hurghada, Sharm El-Sheikh and Aswan.
The city that earned the 1st place was Salzburg in Austria, followed by Washington DC in the USA. Cairo came just ahead of Galway, Ireland.
