Believing in the importance of Entrepreneurship, Microsoft announced launching“Masr Ta3mal” portal for Entrepreneurs. This is considered a new addition to “Masr Ta3mal” initiative that has been launched by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and UNDP which focuses on manpower development in order to benefit the Egyptian youth.

“We are aware of the importance of innovation and entrepreneurship in Egypt and this is why we decided on developing this initiative and expanding the provided services to empower entrepreneurs and start-ups,” GhadaKhalifa, CSR Lead in Microsoft Egypt, said. “The initiative includes a group of services that help Egyptian youth innovate as well as provide all the needed support to start their own companies.”

In this context, “Masr Ta3mal” portal for entrepreneurs aims at supporting Egyptian emerging projects through capacity building in ICT and entrepreneurship skills.

The portal also offers a group of free IT services and tools to support and motivate entrepreneurs, including educational material in IT and business, in addition to diverse information about the Egyptian market and the investment environment in Egypt.

“Financial resources are now available for all innovative Egyptian youth, but the real challenge is in establishing an innovative business that can compete in the Egyptian market,” Khalifa added.

One of the technological tools that Microsoft offers through its portal for supporting entrepreneurs is a tool that displays projects and products. This tool gives a chance for each entrepreneur to publish his needs, market for it, and review the bids and offers of other start-ups. It also gives him the opportunity to search other projects as well as communicate with other entrepreneurs to know more about their innovations and their entrepreneur businesses. This supports entrepreneurship which adds value to the economy as a whole.
