Summit expands partnerships to support Egypt as a regional ICT hub

According to the IDC, initiatives such as the Africa Together program will contribute $6.5 billion to Egypt's ICT market in 2015. A more long-term industry forecast was provided by Egypt's minister of communications and technology, who said that mostly private investments into ICT of up to $18.5 billion are expected to lead to 19% growth in the sector, contributing to a 7% rise in the gross domestic product by 2020.
