Coworking Salzburg | 23.03.2014
This innovative business event format of networking and collaboration for startups across borders and industries has caught the attention of international organisations and corporations:

- The Austrian Trade Commission Center in Cairo (WKO) supported the idea in early stages and connected the Camp organiser Romy Sigl (Coworking Salzburg) with Orascom Development Holding, who laid ground in Egypt for this project.

- Commend International – developer and manufacturer of security and communication systems, founded in 1971 and focused on constant innovation ever since – is sponsoring Coworking-Camp.

- The non-profit organisation enpact , which is offering a very high profile mentoring program for startups (e.g. with mentors from enterprises like Dr. Oetker, BMW, Bertelsmann), is supporting Coworking Camp too. Enpact founder Dr. Sebastian Rubatscher is joining as well.

- MercyCorps is financing the Camp stay of 4 startups from Egypt. The global aid organization supports countries in crisis with humanitarian projects and also fosters economic development and innovation in such regions.

- Pioneers, an organization which develops and nurturs the startup environment in Austria, is sending their community award winner MOVYM, sponsored by Styria Digital, to attend Coworking-Camp.

Coworking Camp is almost fully booked and yet new applications are received on a daily basis.
Participants are from Austria, Germany, Egypt, Croatia, Italy, UK and Spain; Industries covered range from IT, Web and Creative to Education and Health.About
