Ganzouri expresses need to support firms for boosting production

Al-Ganzouri affirmed that the national salvation gov. will help firms operating in Egypt and will maintain Egyptian labour for increasing production.
Prime Minister Dr. Kamal Al-Ganzouri affirmed that the national salvation government will help firms operating in Egypt and will maintain Egyptian labour for increasing production and work opportunities at home and abroad.

The Government gave importers and contractors their dues as of last March till November.

The dues reached LE6.5 billion. The dues of importers which reached LE1.5 billion was endorsed last Tuesday.

This was included in the statement made by Fayza Abul-Nage minister of planning and international cooperation after the meeting headed by Al-Ganzouri, with foreign minister planning, manpower housing, trade and industry ministers attending along with investors and chambers of commerce representatives attending.

Abul-Naga told a joint press conference with foreign minister the meeting discussed coordination between government and firms to know the needs of those sectors.

The meeting discussed as well the security situation and means to strengthen it for supporting the Egyptian economy. Dr Ganzouri decided to establish qualitative committees from construction, building, medicine, energy, industry and production to start work as of today Thursday and to report to the prime minister with recommendations to push the production wheel next Wednesday, she added.
