Project Manager (Civil / Architect)

Interpret plans and estimate costs and quantities of materials needed. • Plan construction methods and procedures. • Supervise construction sites and direct site managers and subcontractors to make sure standards of building performance, quality, cost schedules and safety are maintained. • Study building contract documents. • Control preparation of cost estimates and the documentation for contract bids. • Control payment to subcontractors by valuation of completed works. • As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for directing the professional Consultants and assuming responsibility for the timely delivery of the Project through the pre and post tender stages and within agreed cost parameters. • Over-all responsibility of the project and single point of contact for consultant & contractor. • Monitoring and controlling of contract activities and reporting to the senior on critical issues required in maintaining contractor progress according to project schedule or building program.. • Defines responsibility for every key personnel. Makes sure that all employees receive adequate training (ex, Safety training, technical training). • Ensures that contract procedures are followed during implementation of project. • Effective monitoring of project activities and implementation of remedial action to maintain progress according to project schedule. • Attending of job progress meeting with consultant & contractor

Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering • Arabic and English speaking • With experience in high rise building construction • Knowledgeable in the use of AutoCAD; Primavera • Preferably with Project Management Diploma
