Egypt to sell subsidised bread for non-ration card holders starting January

Egypt's government will start selling discounted bread to citizens not enrolled in its ration card programme, through designated prepaid cards.

Global payment technology company MasterCard signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Egyptian e-commerce platform MaxAB.

The program aims to boost its daily gas production by 30 million cubic, through drilling 11 development wells and three exploratory wells.

Ihab Wassef, the head of the Gold and Precious Ores Division, announced this target at the Nubia International Gold and Jewelry Exhibition.

The planned facility will cater to logistics, trading, distribution, value-added and light industrial activities.
