Vital supply: Egypt, Japan partner on blood bag plant in SCZone

Egypt has signed a major agreement with Japan to establish a blood bag manufacturing facility in the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone).

The collaboration is designed to strengthen local manufacturing capabilities and help Gypto Pharma obtain accreditation from FDA.

An additional LE 5.2 billion has been designated for the railway sector, while LE 1.8 billion will cover student and metro transport subscriptions.
