The 2nd Annual LightingTech Egypt conference was successfully held at the Dusit Thani Lakeview, Cairo. As reflected by the positive testimonials, this event has once again exceeded attendees’ expectations in terms of quality, content, and onsite delivery.
Over 80 attendees gathered to discuss the latest updates on lighting projects and investment by the government stakeholders and the private sector, as well as the latest approaches and technologies for lighting as a design element, potential savings due to energy efficiency, as well as the sustainable use of lighting.
We look forward to a 3rd edition for this event next year. Based on the feedback from the market, LightingTech Egypt is expected to grow and evolve into the de facto gathering of the lighting industry.
The Lighting Tech Egypt conference will bring together senior representatives from government ministries, lighting designers, Engineering contractors and developers to discuss the latest smart, sustainable and cost-effective solutions for Egypt’s developing public realm.
The conference will focus on reducing energy expenditure for both indoor and outdoor lighting systems as well as examining the benefits of new light sources. New technologies such as Organic Light Emitting Diodes (OLED) and Fibre optics will be discussed for their potential energy saving benefits and the conference will also draw on strategies for utilizing natural daylight in interiors.
